Monitoring group members, fulfilling the requirements for sanitary safety, checked only the entrance groups of buildings of medical organizations, the operation of call buttons and the response of staff to requests from disabled people for assistance. Unfortunately, in most cases, the complaints of Nizhny Novgorod residents about the lack of conditions for access of people with limited mobility were found to be justified. For the sake of justice, it should be noted, that the most problematic medical organizations were tested, improvement of which requires significant financial costs. Nevertheless, representatives of the founder - the regional ministry of health promised, that following the results of the visit, the program for the formation of a barrier-free environment in subordinate institutions will be adjusted.
