Since the inception of organizations, uniting people with
disability, one of the main tasks of their activities was the struggle for
barrier-free infrastructure. Indeed, without providing architectural
accessibility it is impossible to achieve the realization of their rights to education,
work and just a fulfilling life. But few, even from representatives
disabled people's organizations, will be able to explain point by point, What is it
accessible environment, who is interested in creating it, and how can this be done.
This heading is intended for, to clarify the concept
"Barrier-free design" and visualize, what is needed for
ensuring the accessibility of the environment for people with various types of disabilities.
