In GBOU "Nizhny Novgorod Cadet Corps of the Volga Federal District named after General Margelov VF Army" 4 October, the Open Championship in orienteering was held in a screen format among students of the 7th and 8th grades, competed in total 40 cadets. Competitions were held by the master of sports in sports of persons with PODA (orienteering) Konovalov Ivan and Zabegina Nadezhda. The aim of the competition was to popularize this sport., attracting people with a healthy and active lifestyle, as well as testing knowledge based on the results of orienteering lessons in 2020-2021 year.
