Nizhny Novgorod. 16 september. NTA-Volga region - In the Nizhny Novgorod region 15 On September, a visiting sports and rehabilitation camp for training in the use of a wheelchair was opened “Center for the active life”.

It is organized within the project “Mobilization”, which is implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society.

According to the organization “Invatur”, active people with disabilities from the Nizhny Novgorod region and other regions of Russia came to study, wishing to learn how to use an active wheelchair, independent living skills. The camp is held with 15 by 25 september 2020 years at the sports center “Борский”.

The program includes training in safe movement in a wheelchair, overcoming obstacles, as well as competitions in adaptive sports, trainings, relaxation and communication in nature. In the first practical lesson, the participants learned to fall from the wheelchair and get up on their own.
