FROM 17 by 20 april 2022 years in. Alexine (Tula region) a seminar was held on the preparation of classifiers on the topic: "Sports and functional classification of athletes with POD in boccia" at RUTB "Oka". The organizers of the seminar within the framework of the Russian Boccia Championship were the Paralympic Committee of Russia and the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Musculoskeletal Disabilities. It was attended 16 man from 11 subjects of the Russian Federation. Including regional classifiers of the Nizhny Novgorod region Konovalov Ivan and Zabegina Nadezhda, as well as Volgina Elena, new specialist in this field.
The seminar was held by the international classifier in boccia sports of persons with POD Sladkova Natalya Alekseevna. Experts among the participants, who have previously trained as a PODA Federation Classifier and are currently a National or Regional Classifier.
The seminar program consisted of theoretical and practical parts, and also included two written tests: introductory at the beginning of the seminar and closing at the end of the seminar. The program was developed taking into account the requirements of the International Paralympic Committee, International Standard for the Preparation of Classifiers and the Classification Rules of the International Boccia Federation. According to the results of testing, Ivan Konovalov and Elena Volgina have the right to classify athletes with musculoskeletal disorders in boccia at the level of the subject of the Russian Federation, a Zabegina Nadezhda at the national level.
At the end of the event, all participants were given certificates from the Sports Federation of Persons with ODA, confirming the completion of the seminar.
