FROM 18 by 24 april 2022 of the year in the city of Aleksin in the Republican Educational and training base "OKA" the Russian Boccia Championship was held, 107 athletes with disabilities from 28 regions of Russia fought for the title of the best in the country. This large-scale and exciting event for all participants takes place for the fourteenth time. Under the conditions of compliance with safety standards and restrictions, there was no opening and spectators could be present in the hall in a limited number. The national team of the Nizhny Novgorod region was represented by three athletes with musculoskeletal disorders in their classes: BC2 – Volgin Nikolai, BC3 – Konovalov Ivan, VS. 4 – Shekhalev Pavel. The guys tried their hand at the strongest rivals of Russia. Unfortunately, only Pavel left his subgroup. Shekhalev Pavel took 6th place in his class out of 17 participants, Volgin Nikolai is the 14th of the 21 participants, Konovalov Ivan 10th out of 12 participants. We got a lot of experience. Seeing your mistakes, set new goals to achieve better results in the future. The rating of athletes in Russia in boccia will be known after 15 may. Athletes from the Nizhny Novgorod region plan to continue to compete in all-Russian competitions.
