As part of the open training, the opening ceremony of the department of adaptive sports on the basis of the MAOU DO SC "Palace of Sports Yunost" will be held, with the support of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the city of Nizhny Novgorod and the director of the Sports Palace Yunost 3 February 2023 g.
It will be possible to meet and train in five disciplines: barrel, outdoor curling, table tennis, sledge hockey and vertical hockey.

Sledge hockey or sleigh hockey is a team sports game on ice, analog of ice hockey for people with disabilities. The game consists in confrontation on a special sleigh of two teams, which are, passing the puck with sticks, strive to throw it the greatest number of times into the opponent's goal and not let it into their own. Team wins, scoring the most goals into the opponent's goal. Sledge hockey is included in the program of the Winter Paralympic Games.
Vertical hockey for people with mental disabilities (autism, Down syndrome, etc.) actively developed in recent years.
