The event was attended by experts from the Department of Transport, together with residents, representatives of the traffic police and organizations, representing people with disabilities.
“Today the first retreat was held as part of the work of the working group, которая создана по распоряжению главы города Vladimir Panov. Particular attention was paid to parking lots on Zayarskaya street near the hospital №35 and parking near the house №15A on Bogorodsky street near the apartment building. All places are located on municipal land. The city administration plans in the near future to equip these objects with parking spaces for the disabled: set the necessary road signs and mark ”, – сказала Nina Bocharova. She also noted, what parking spaces, for which there are appeals from citizens - in the area of special attention.
Specialists of the center for the organization of traffic have been instructed to develop additional technical specifications for the installation of road signs for their subsequent implementation as part of the municipal program "Development of the transport infrastructure of Nizhny Novgorod in 2019-2024 years.
Chairman of NROOI "Invatur" Andrey Bulanov noted, that in the future they will collect all the wishes of members of the organization for arranging parking spaces for the disabled, on which it will be possible to make up plans for the next meeting of the working group.
“Progress is, that all meeting participants began to hear each other, and the administration is ready for action: we show an object - they see an opportunity. From the first meeting, we have already established communications ”, - emphasized the lawyer of NROOI "Invatur" Andrey Chistov.
As reported in the deptrans, is planned, that members of the working group on this issue will meet at least once a quarter, and if necessary at least once a month.
