Disabled employee: labor resource or social burden?

Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University 11 by 12 November 2021 g. the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychology of Personnel Management and the Ecosystem of Mentoring in the Context of Changing Technological Order".
This year the conference is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University.
The purpose of the conference is to expand scientific cooperation between Russian and foreign researchers on the problems of management psychology., organizational psychology, personnel management and social engineering, and also to comprehend new challenges and prospects for the further development of managerial psychology in the context of changes in the technological structure, pandemics and postcoid reality, strengthen links between science and management practice.

13 countries (Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Belarus, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Mauritius, Uzbekistan, Ecuador),
22 cities of Russia (Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Kirov, Korolev, Krasnodar, Moscow, Mulino of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Mytishchi, Moscow region, Nizhny Novgorod, Novorossiysk, Omsk, Permian, Rostov-on-Don, Ryazan, Samara, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Tyumen, Cheboksary, Yaroslavl),
37 universities.
With the report “Employee with disabilities: labor resource or social load "at the conference was made by the chairman of the NROOI" Invatur "Andrey Bulanov. The report presents the results of a study of the causes, hindering the involvement of people with disabilities in active work. Shown, that the prevailing "medical" approach to solving the problem, according to which people with disabilities, usually, a limited list of low-skilled and low-paid vacancies is offered. The transition to the "social" approach is proposed, where the applicant is considered, first of all, as a competent and in-demand specialist, for whose involvement in labor activity it is necessary to eliminate a number of barriers: physical, psychological, social. The report was prepared in collaboration with Svetlana Kupolova.
The presentation aroused the interest of the audience, questions were asked. NROOI "Invatur" actively cooperates with scientific institutions in the field of social rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
