14 may 2022 of the year, as part of the development of sports in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Championship of the Nizhny Novgorod region among people with OMA was held (checkers). The championship was held within the walls of NROOI INVATUR. The competition was opened by the coach of table sports of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Eduard Vladimirovich Samarin, a multiple winner of the Summer Paralympic Games 2012, Honored Master of Sports of Russia in Swimming among athletes with motor impairment (PODA).
All people with musculoskeletal disorders could take part in the Championship.- Locomotive organs of both sexes. Took part 14 man.
On Saturday, everyone was in the mood for a serious fight.
Competitions were individual. The Swiss tournament system was applied. Men played with women. The fight between the participants was intense, interesting. All participants tried their best to show their skills. According to the results of the Championship, Mikhail Shcheltsyn became the absolute winner. The winners among men were: 1 a place – Shcheltsyn Mikhail, 2 place - Andrey Grachev, 3 place – Sarua Alexander. And the winners among women: 1 a place – Potylitsyna Svetlana, 2 a place – Kurochkina Nadezhda, 3 a place – Roganyan Anastasia
All winners and prize-winners received medals and diplomas, as well as gifts.
