Nizhny Novgorod team "Invatur" went to Sochi for the festival "Para-Art"
FROM 5 by 11 October, Sochi hosts an Open Festival of Culture and Sports "Para-Art" for people with disabilities. The team of the Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization of disabled people "Invatur", traditionally, will take part in it. The trip became possible thanks to the victory of the Invatur NROOI in the competition for charitable projects of the engineering division of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. The best para-athletes went to Sochi, who have been trained, master classes and qualifying competitions.
The Para-Art festival program includes competitions in adaptive sports, as well as creative evenings, tours, discussion of the problems of accessibility of sports and tourism facilities for people with disabilities.
“We annually go to competitions in Sochi, we try to attract new children with disabilities to regular sports. And it brings results. Nizhny Novgorod residents have just brought high awards from the Paralympics to Tokyo. The 16th ceremony of awarding the prize of the Russian Paralympic Committee "Return to Life" was recently held in Dzerzhinsk. Holding an event of this level in the Nizhny Novgorod region is a recognition of the region's contribution to the active development of the Paralympic movement ", - noted the chairman of the NROOI "Invatur" Andrey Bulanov.
