In a special competition of the Presidential Grants Fund, our project became one of the winners.
Objective of the project – development of a system of complex social adaptation of persons, seriously injured, with the involvement of mentors from among the disabled, having a positive experience of overcoming life's difficulties.
The main tasks of our project – this is:
– Teaching people with disabilities skills for independent living
– To acquaint a person and his immediate environment with the opportunities for an independent life of a person with a disability, sports, tourism
– Teaching skills for self-protection of social rights
– Eliminate existing psychological barriers to overcoming social isolation.
But, perhaps, the most important task in our work – to help people with disabilities gain confidence in their abilities and abilities, become active in life.
