In the city of Aleksin, Tula region, at the Republican educational and training base "OKA" the opening of the All-Russian sports competitions in sports for persons with a defeat of the ODA "Summer Games of Paralympians "We are together sports" discipline - boccia. The competition will take place from 1 by 7 October. 78 athletes with disabilities from 23 regions of Russia, will fight for the title of the best.
Competition program: individual BC1, BC2, ВСЗ, ВС4 (divided into men and women); BC1 / BC2 command; couples VSZ; pairs ВС4.
The national team of the Nizhny Novgorod region is represented by three athletes with musculoskeletal disorders in their classes: BC2 – Volgin Nikolai and Rechkina Yulia; BC3 – Konovalov Ivan. The guys will play with Russia's strongest opponents. They will fight for it on the courts and gain a lot of experience playing.
Boccia is the most accessible sport for people with disabilities, interesting and dynamic game, which develops accuracy, Attention, quick thinking. Boccia - fighting yourself, because it is necessary to show, that it was not in vain that you came to the meeting of the strongest.
