Openly held 3 October 2023 year at the Center for Contemporary Art “Arsenal”.
The film festival was organized by Arsenal and Invatur.
The event takes place annually within the walls of the Arsenal.

Pleasantly, that they did not remain indifferent to “Breaking Down Barriers” government representatives and heads of non-profit organizations of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
– In my work I interact with people with disabilities. I can absolutely say, what are they, even though they have health problems, but, believe, This does not prevent them from leading an active lifestyle and we ourselves have a lot to learn from them, – Igor Mikhaylushkin, Representative of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
– “Breaking Down Barriers” – film festival, clearly demonstrates the different interests of people with disabilities, show that they are individuals, able to live, achieve success in many areas of life, -Andrey Bulanov, chairman of NROOI “Invatur”.
Free film screenings will take place every Tuesday from 10 October to 5 December in 18:30 in the Arsenal cinema and concert hall (left wing, 2 floor).
