The Chkalov Staircase is no exception., but is it available to people, wheelchair accessible, because there is no ramp? 16 June guys showed, that you can climb it!
Invatur organized such an opportunity for the guys. They were able to go up, thanks to crawler lift.
There were so many indescribable positive emotions for everyone!

After climbing the stairs, all you could hear was, how to share experiences.
– It was a little scary, – share sisters Katya and Sveta Romanov. Yes, the ski lift has insurance and a strong escort next to you, but it's still adrenaline. Everything was compensated by such a stunning view from the Chkalovskaya Stairs, that fear dissipated quickly and it was simply not up to him!
Two young guys passed by our procession, and they watched with genuine interest, how people in wheelchairs got to the top using a caterpillar lift.
– First time I see this, but it's very cool! -one says to the other in surprise.
Gathered at the top, we organized a small flash mob: unfurled banners with the name of the project "Available. Hospitably" and "Lower-800".
For a long time no one wanted to leave, but we had an interesting tour of the Kremlin, which was also organized by Invatur within the framework of the project. It has been adapted for people with disabilities: for the blind and visually impaired, for people with musculoskeletal problems.
Acquaintance with the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin was so exciting, what we didn't notice, as the time of the walk came to an end.
But there will be pleasant memories of the past day. They can be revived in the future, because with us everywhere was a charming videographer Ksenia Ilyina, she captured the bright and touching moments of our ascent to the Chkalov Stairs and a walk around the Kremlin.
