FROM 10 by 16 april 2023 year in the city of Aleksin in the Republican educational and training base "OKA" the Championship of Russia in boccia was held, 113 athletes with disabilities from 27 regions of Russia, fought for the title of the best in the country. This large-scale and exciting event for all participants takes place for the fifteenth time..

Competition program: individual BC1, BC2, ВСЗ, ВС4 (divided into men and women); BC1 / BC2 command; couples VSZ; pairs ВС4.
The national team of the Nizhny Novgorod region was represented by six athletes with lesions of the musculoskeletal system in their classes: BC2 – Volgin Nikolai and Rechkina Yulia; BC3 – Konovalov Ivan; VS. 4 – Dmitry Razumkov, Sapelkin Andrey and Shekhalev Pavel. Passed the classification. The guys tried their hand at the strongest rivals of Russia. Unfortunately, only Nikolai Volgin left his subgroup (BC2) and took 12th place in his class out of 22 participants.
