30 september 2021 The 6th regional championship in professional skills among people with disabilities and disabilities "Abilympix" was held at the Nizhny Novgorod Provincial College. At the opening of the championship, the participants were addressed by the Minister of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region – David Melik-Huseynov, runner-up of the Tokyo Paralympic Games swimmer Nikita Kazachiner and many others. As part of the event, a round table was held with the participation of employers from the region, representatives of public organizations and the Employment Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Discussed the issue of effective employment of persons with disabilities and disabilities and the conditions for the formation of an accessible environment in organizations. Career guidance events took place. The exhibition program of the championship included the presentation of works, made by the hands of students with disabilities (OVZ). And at this time, the participants competed in professional skills on the sites in 27 competencies. Competitors on the sites had the opportunity to test themselves, demonstrate your knowledge and professional skills to potential employers. Winners, first place winners, will be able to represent the Nizhny Novgorod region at the qualifying stage of the VII National Championship, which will take place in October 2021 years in face-to-face and distance format. Within the framework of the championship in the sports hall of building No. 1 held master classes and friendly matches in Paralympic sports boccia and streetball, conducted by representatives of the NROOI INVATUR. Everyone could try their hand. Many students did not participate in friendly matches, but tried their hand at master classes and were active fans, some watched, but in 2022 year also want to participate. It was spectacular. Bochcha (ital. Bocce – ball) - sports game for accuracy, ballgame family, close to bowling and petanque, Boccia also resembles curling, included in the Paralympic Games program. Streetball in wheelchairs. The rules of the game are similar to those of regular streetball.. Used half of a regular size basketball court, the basket is at the same height. The ball can be passed, throw, roll or lead in any direction, provided that the stated rules are followed. The player must pass the ball or hit it on the floor after every two pushing of the wheels.. The goal of each team – throw the ball into the basket. Streetball is played up 21 points or 10 minutes.
