Innovation for Integration Project, implemented by NROOI "Invatur" with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, entered the TOP-100 for 2018 of the year.
During the implementation of the project, the relevance and efficiency of the applied innovative technologies of social rehabilitation of disabled people was confirmed: mobilizing people with disabilities on a self-help basis, assistance in employment on the basis of the training and production workshop "ARTel". The level of legal awareness of the project participants has increased, people with disabilities and members of their families began to actively appeal for the protection of their social rights. Cooperation of the public organization with social protection authorities has been strengthened, medical organizations, employment service. The authority of the organization has increased as a center of attraction for people with disabilities. The film screening contributed to, that others began to see disabled people not only as an object for providing assistance, but also an example of overcoming life difficulties, that can meet on the way of any person. Young people with disabilities, trained in a sports and rehabilitation camp for training in the use of an active wheelchair, became more confident, mobile, communicative. Conducted training, competitions among people with disabilities contributed to the development of adaptive physical culture and sports in the region. Increased media attention to the problem of social rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
