The medals of the Russian Championship will be played in individual and pair events. Athletes from different regions of Russia take part in the competitions.
The Paralympic Committee of Russia and the All-Russian Federation of Sports of Persons with ODA Impairment, within the framework of the Russian Championship, held an All-Russian seminar on the preparation of classifiers on the topic: "Sports and functional classification of athletes with a lesion of the musculoskeletal system in wheelchair tennis" with 17 may 2022 – 20 may 2022 on the basis of the Children's and Youth Sports School "Tennis-Park NN" (g. Nizhny Novgorod, etc. Gagarin 33)
The seminar was conducted by the head of the anti-doping department, medical and scientific and methodological support of the RCC apparatus, Chief Classifier of the All-Russian Federation of Sports of Persons with ODA Impairment, international classifier for sports of persons with ODA impairment, Idrisova Guzel Zubairovna Candidate of Medical Sciences.
The seminar was intended for wheelchair tennis coaches of the sport of persons with ODA impairment., doctors, working in the field of adaptive sports, specialists in physical culture and sports, and adaptive physical education and sports. There were several training blocks at the seminar: theoretical, practical and testing. The participants of the seminar, after successfully passing the test, received the RCC Certificate with the right to classify athletes at the level of the subject of the Russian Federation in wheelchair tennis of the sport of persons with musculoskeletal disorders.
Congratulations to the first Nizhny Novgorod athlete in the Quad Division class, Volgin Nikolai with the passage of the Russian classification. He also had the opportunity to communicate with the specialists of the Russian wheelchair tennis team. And get recommendations on additional equipment necessary for him to achieve sports heights in wheelchair tennis and further participation in All-Russian competitions.
