On Saturday 17 August 2019 our Nizhny Novgorod celebrates its birthday and invites everyone to the celebration!
City Day will take place over more than 10 platforms, including city parks, Strelka territory, Nizhnevolzhskaya embankment and the embankment of the Grebnoy Canal.
The festive program is designed for people of different generations and audiences:
interactive programs will be presented for children, for youth –
music program with talented Nizhny Novgorod groups and di – Jays,
for the older generation – dancing to the orchestra. Surprises for Nizhny Novgorod residents and guests
the city was prepared by representatives of various urban communities - bikers,
racers, balloonists, yachtsmen, fishermen, artists, mimes, reenactors,
directors, who are ready to demonstrate their skills and offer
citizens active participation. The culmination of City Day will be the fireworks festival, which starts at
22.00 in the Strelka water area and will end with a gala – fireworks.
