A practical seminar on the topic "Organization of classes in adaptive physical culture and sports" was held 09 November 2022 g. Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization of the disabled "Invatur" in the fitness club "Fizkult Meshchera". Specialists of sports institutions of the city of Nizhny Novgorod were invited to participate, people with disabilities, Paralympic athletes.
The event was held in an innovative practice-oriented format. First, the participants made a tour along the way, which visitors with disabilities pass: from the turnstile through the adaptive locker room to specialized simulators, swimming pool with lift. Activists of NROOY "Invatur", regularly attending a sports club free of charge, demonstrated classes on various adaptive simulators, talked about their achievements.
And at the end of the seminar, activists of the NROOOI "Invatur" held master classes in playing boccia and outdoor curling, in which inclusive teams of specialists from sports institutions and children with disabilities participated.
The project "Sport without barriers" of the Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization of cultural, social and labor rehabilitation of disabled supporters and wheelchair users "Invatur" is one of the winners of the city competition of social projects "Open Lower" in 2022 year in the direction of "Social Nizhny". The goal of the project is to promote a healthy lifestyle, involvement of people with disabilities in regular adaptive physical education classes.
