3 July, GTRK “Nizhny Novgorod”. FROM 13 by 21 July 2018 years at the sports base "Triathlon" in the Nizhny Novgorod region in the framework of the project "Center for Active Life" young people with disabilities will learn to use an active stroller.
Project "Center for Active Life" – it is an innovative technology for social work with people with disabilities, which in the limiting conditions of life creates an equal opportunity regime for such people. The center’s activities are based on self-help and mutual assistance..
People with different disabilities help each other in everyday activities., getting the right information, legal issues. The project is implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society, granted by the presidential grants.
The program includes safe wheelchair mobility training, overcoming obstacles, adaptive sports competitions, trainings, relaxation and communication in nature.
People with disabilities are invited to study, using a stroller when moving. Participation, accommodation in 2 and 3 bed rooms in cottages with all amenities and meals are organized for free.
