Nizhny Novgorod. 18 Martha. NewsRoom24.ru - The number of parking spaces for disabled people in Nizhny Novgorod will be increased. Nina Bocharova, deputy director of the city department of transport, announced this at an away meeting 18 Martha.
The meeting was attended by members of the working group on ensuring accessibility of transport infrastructure for people with disabilities in Nizhny Novgorod, created on behalf of Vladimir Panov. It included employees of the deptrans, traffic police inspectors and human rights defenders. They examined the area near the hospital №35 on Zayarskaya street and the parking lot near the house №15a on Bogorodsky street. According to Bocharova, in the near future there will be parking places for people with disabilities - for this, road signs will be installed and special markings will be applied.
The representative of the department also noted, that particular attention is paid to those parking spaces, by which appeals from residents.
Following the meeting 18 March, the data center specialists were instructed to develop additional terms of reference for the installation of road signs. Subsequently, they are implemented within the framework of the city program "Development of transport infrastructure of Nizhny Novgorod on 2019-2024 years.
Is known, that members of the working group will meet at least once every three months, and if necessary even more often.
Special parking spaces will appear at the hospital number 35 and on the street Bogorodsky.
