– We won wars, but here they couldn’t cope. It’s like they wiped their feet on us, laughed, and no one protected. And now there's talk, to completely ban Of Russia participation in international tournaments. If this happens, coaches will have no incentive to continue working. Most of them – aged people. Paralympic sport will simply die, and disabled people will find themselves locked within four walls and left to their own devices, – says Andryushchenko, with every phrase he boils more and more. – It's a shame, what are our quotas for the Paralympics, hard earned, will be given to other countries. Because of training and performances, I already 12 I haven't gone on vacation with my family for years. I was afraid to miss classes – otherwise you will lose your high place in the ranking. And now a Hindu will take my place, shot put funny 10 meters. Lucky guy, what can I say!

Dmitry KOKAREV, swimming:

Why were we punished??

Diagnosis of cerebral palsy for Dmitry's parents Kokareva from Nizhny Novgorod at first it sounded like a sentence. They took their son to different clinics, tried to get him back on his feet. And then Dima got into the pool. Marvelous, but baby, who could barely walk on the ground, in the water I felt like a real ichthyander. At first it was just rehabilitation, and then the daily training began.

– One day my son told me: "I'll prove to the world, that's the same, as everybody". IN 17 Dima went to his first Paralympic Games in Beijing and brought it right away 4 medals – three gold and one silver! – says the athlete’s mother Lyudmila. – We were joking: you are patronized by himself Poseidon!

Now 25-year-old Kokarev already has eight Olympic medals.. At the Rio Games I could have won more, and more than one, because he was among the favorites.

– We believed until the last and continued to train, – admitted "KP» Dmitry Kokarev. – The doping situation is always monitored very strictly, Don't know, like other teams, and ours, swimming, was never noticed. We're all in shock. We don't know, What will happen now…

Alexander KUZYUKOV, fencing:

My medal was taken from under my nose

Spinal injury, which Alexander received Kuzyukov from Omsk, barely entered university, changed his life forever. But he graduated from the Siberian Road Academy, married and 2014 became the first Russian, won gold at the World Championships in their category B (wheelchair users). There were chances of winning in Rio too, if only Sasha had been allowed there. The sad news found the athlete at the training camp in Lobne. Communicating with us, he could hardly hold back tears from resentment at the unfair decision.

– I still can't understand. The brain refuses to perceive such information. I went to these competitions 7 years old. During the London Olympics it was still quite green, and now I’m closer to optimal shape. Difficult to convey, What do you feel, when your medals leave you. They were taken from me from under my nose and not in a fair competition, – After these words, Alexander takes a long pause, gets ready and continues. – This time we have one of the strongest teams. For all 11 years old, How fencing became a Paralympic sport, Not a single athlete has ever been caught doping.. The decision to deprive us of our performance is not supported by anything. People have completely forgotten about conscience, frequent, dignity.

Galina LIPATNIKOVA, Athletics:

Previously, I couldn’t hold a cannonball in my hands., and now I have the second result in the world ranking

32-summer Galina Lipatnikova from Perm – Master of Sports in Athletics. National champion and record holder in discus throwing, spears, shot put and darts. And it's impossible to guess, what every day is for her – This is a fight against a very rare and little-studied disease, for which there is no cure.

– Syringomyelia of the spinal cord, – Galina explains. – The body has absolutely no sensitivity. You don't feel any pain, no hotter, neither cold. Nothing at all.

But from resentment and disappointment after the decision to exclude the team from participation in the Paralympics, Galya almost cries:

– I had one main goal – Paralympic medal. And the chances are high. My shot put result – 10 m 10 cm – second in the world ranking. I came to the sport three years ago, started from scratch, – the athlete says. – For me the problem was not only the shot put, hold him. But everything worked out thanks to my coach Sergei Lodochnykov. Decision of the International Paralympic Committee – it's a shock. It’s not completely clear to me at all, how can you blame those athletes, who have recently come to this sport? We're new here, This doping problem didn’t even concern us. But I will train further and go towards my goal.

LITERALLY

“I don’t feel any guilt at all.. We had clear instructions to investigate specifically athletics, and precisely in Russia. We did this and saw, that the whole system is here – corrupt.

We reported this Where follows and gave our recommendations WATER. Including: take away accreditation from RUSADA and suspend all Russian track and field athletes from participating in international competitions. And I believe, that we did the right thing.

Thinking wrong, that doping is only accepted in Russia. If you think, that only track and field athletes take doping, then you are also wrong".

(Richard POUND, former President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WATER), – on Match TV.)
