The regional conference "Active Life" takes place in the Nizhny Novgorod region, dedicated to the problems of involving people with disabilities in the active life of society. Event organizer – Nizhny Novgorod Regional Public Organization of the Disabled "Invatur", implementing the Active Movement project funded by a grant within the framework of the subprogram "Support for socially oriented non-profit organizations in the Nizhny Novgorod Region" co-financed by the Presidential Grants Fund.

Activists with disabilities gathered at the recreation center "Izumrudnoye" on the Gorky Sea, to discuss existing barriers to inclusion, options for overcoming them. Topics covered – not only the availability of social infrastructure, but also the willingness of people with disabilities themselves, their immediate environment to take part in solving existing problems, constructive interaction.

Master classes are held for conference participants, new methods of social adaptation of people with disabilities are demonstrated, computer technology, technical means. You can in practice try your hand at managing a sapboard, kayak, adapted for people with mobility difficulties.
