In Nizhniy Novgorod 26 may 2021 the opening of the film festival "Cinema without Barriers. Nizhny Novgorod Echo ". "Cinema without Barriers" is a festival unique for our country, held in Moscow with 2002 of the year. The films shown on it do not just touch on the problems or successes of people with disabilities, but show real stories of overcoming barriers in and around us. Pictures prove, what is important to see in any person, first of all, a person, and not one or another of its features, including disability. This is an opportunity to enter the world, about which many have very vague ideas, associated with pity and stereotypes.
The program includes a demonstration of the film "My name is Petya", winner in the nomination "Best Film about Children with Disabilities".
The event will also sum up the results of the competition for social videos, filmed by Nizhny Novgorod youth creative groups, and awarding the winners.
Students are invited to participate in the event, activists of public organizations, institutions of continuing education, representatives of the city administration of Nizhny Novgorod.
The event will take place 26 may 2021 of the year in the assembly hall of CHOURO "NERPTS (MP)» «Сормовская православная гимназия». Мероприятие проводится при поддержке Фонда президентских грантов в рамках проекта «Доступная среда – свобода передвижения».
