Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order approving a set of measures to develop the industry of rehabilitation products at 2020-2022 the years, which includes the development of new national standards in the field of the rehabilitation industry and the provision of subsidies to manufacturers. “We are talking about the production of products for people with disabilities. It could be ramps, wheelchairs, Hearing Aids, speech synthesizers, braille displays and other tools they need”, – the message says.
The document consists of 20 of events, grouped in four directions: improving the quality of rehabilitation products and their promotion to domestic and foreign markets, as well as the creation of innovative products and raising the level of qualifications of employees in this field.
“Among the main activities – introduction of rehabilitation products into the all-Russian classifier of economic activities (OKVED). The fact, that such products still do not have separate codes in OKVED, this, among other things, makes it difficult to allocate subsidies and provide other measures of state support to producers. Also in the package of measures – expanding the list of products, which people with disabilities will be able to purchase with an electronic certificate, creation of a council for professional qualifications in the production of socially significant goods and development of a laboratory base for testing new rehabilitation means”, – explained in document.
It is noted, that the document includes training seminars for disabled people and representatives of charitable foundations, Where “they will be able to see the latest products”.
“The document was developed as part of the strategy for the development of production of rehabilitation products. Her goal – to 2025 to create a competitive and stable industry, meeting the needs of people with disabilities. Such citizens need special support from the state.
