At the stadium "Trud" 15 August 2021 g. Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization of disabled people "Invatur" holds traditional competitions, dedicated to the Day of the Athlete. Athletes with musculoskeletal disorders participate in them annually. The purpose of the event is to promote a healthy lifestyle, attraction of people with disabilities to regular classes of adaptive physical culture and sports.
"Competition of the city of Nizhny Novgorod" Day of the Athlete of Russia "in athletics among children and athletes with PODA" will be held at. Nizhny Novgorod, Boulevard Jubilee d. 30
This year, Athletic Day is held on the eve of the XVI Paralympic Games (from 24 августа по 5 september), and our competitions will be held in support of Russian para-athletes, who will defend the honor of the country in Tokyo.
We introduced new disciplines to the competition.
Competitions will be held in six types of programs:
- Run 60m: but. defensive midfielders and equated, b. spinal cords, in. Cerebral Palsy and Participants with Sequelae of Neck Injury.
- Laser biathlon: seated shooting (elbows) on the table 5 shots and one additional and running distance 500 meters: but. spinal cord b. defensive midfielders and equated
- Figure riding on an electric wheelchair
- darts
- Core: but. defensive midfielders and equated b. spinal cords
- Powerlifting (separation of a woman before 60 Kg. and 60 "Plus" kg and men up to 80 kg and 80 "Plus" kg.)
Competitors will be able to try their hand at a wheelchair tennis master class, which is planned to be developed in our city in the near future.
Honored para-athletes are invited to the event, representatives of the authorities, mass media, activists of public organizations. Competitions are held with the support of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
