World Children's Day was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954 year. It is celebrated 20 November as a day of world brotherhood and mutual understanding of children, dedicated to, aimed at promoting the well-being of children around the world. On this day in 1959 году Генеральная Ассамблея приняла приняла Declaration of the rights of the child, and in 1989 году — Convention on the Rights of the Child.
FROM 1990 Years on World Children's Day marks the anniversary of the adoption of these fundamental instruments for the protection of the rights of the child.
