The judge is a man, who is personally responsible for the fair resolution of disputes. Every judge must be fair and independent, knowledgeable about the rules of the sport, which he judges. Must assess all situations before, during and after the game. And also be stress-resistant, responsible, cold-blooded and attentive. During his work, the judge has no "relatives" or "friends". The referee must be a professional even if he does not have a referee category, but he was trusted and his decision must be fair.
In the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the sport of boccia, there are so far only three professional judges. They judge at regional and all-Russian competitions, they have the third referee category. This is Zharkova Anastasia (g. Gorodets), Konovalov Ivan and Zabegina Nadezhda (g. Nizhny Novgorod). But they learn theoretically and practically, pass on their skills- grow like professionals.
In October, the All-Russian seminar of sports judges in boccia sports for persons with impaired musculoskeletal system was held. More than a hundred people attended the seminar: trainers of Russian regions, judges and athletes, who are part of the Russian national team. Konovalov Ivan and Zabegina Nadezhda participated in the seminar from the Nizhny Novgorod region.
During training in theoretical blocks, they studied the new edition of the international boccia rules 2021-2024 v.1 and the system of holding all-Russian and regional competitions, as well as the further participation of Russian athletes in international competitions. Discussed issues.
Based on the results of the innovations, the participants of the online seminar passed the tests and those who answered more than 70% got the certificates correctly.
