In the Nizhny Novgorod region, like all over the country, election campaign is underway
Single voting day is set for Sunday, 13 september.
To split the streams of voters, избирательные участки будут работать в течение трех дней. For example, at the elections of deputies to the City Duma of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas 11 and 12 September, a separate order of early voting applies. Residents can vote in person, as well as at home.
A total of applicants for 1776 mandates of various levels will be elected in 26 municipal areas and 12 urban districts.
“The significance of the city Duma of the new convocation is additionally increased in connection with the anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod in 2021 year. Now all branches of government are required to coordinate well. Decisions in the interests of Nizhny Novgorod residents should be made promptly and efficiently”, – noted the governor Gleb Nikitin.
