The project is aimed at developing a system of complex social adaptation of persons, seriously injured, with the involvement of mentors from among the disabled, having a positive experience of overcoming life's difficulties.
There are classes on social adaptation, tours.
Particular attention will be paid to the repair and maintenance of technical rehabilitation equipment. (strollers, electrical attachments, lifts, etc.), because. in recent months there have been difficulties in acquiring and maintaining them.
In the lessons on the basics of legal knowledge, participants will be asked to solve practical problems: submit through the portal of public services, carry out acceptance of a wheelchair, etc.. Project participants will be able to receive individual advice on legal issues.
Psychological assistance will be provided to people with disabilities, as well as their family members, immediate environment. Group trainings available, individual consultations.
For the most active participants of the project, an outreach sports and rehabilitation camp is organized, in which they will receive additional training in independent living skills.
The feature of the project is, that its implementation will be carried out by employees, those with disabilities, having personal experience of overcoming life's difficulties, leading an active lifestyle. Project participants, trained, in the future, they themselves will act as activation centers.
