The project is aimed at integrating people with disabilities into the active life of society through the integrated use of modern practices of social rehabilitation, individual support, involvement in regular adaptive physical culture and sports.
Worked with a psychologist, individual routes of social rehabilitation are determined, people with disabilities received independent living skills, became confident users of technical means of rehabilitation. An outreach sports and rehabilitation camp was held, in which 15 people have practically consolidated the acquired skills, engaged in adaptive physical culture and sports.
To consolidate society around the idea of helping the disabled, field events were held in remote areas of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, held open training and regular physical education classes for people with disabilities, in which at least 70 man. Taking into account the worsening epidemiological situation, outdoor training and competitions were organized: in parks, on sports grounds, beaches.
Project specialists visited families, where people with disabilities live, provided consulting assistance in organizing an accessible environment. The needy were provided with material assistance in the form of food packages.
During the course of the project, at least 100 legal advice.
A feature of the project is, that people with various forms of disability will be involved in the organization of his work. Disabled people, trained during the project, in the future they themselves will act as centers of revitalization of life.
Target groups
1.older people with disabilities 18 years old, living in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
