The presented project was aimed at enhancing the integration of people with disabilities, their integration into the life of society through the use of innovative technologies on the basis of the "Center for Active Life" created in the organization.
This is the technology of mentoring, when people with disabilities, experienced in coping with life's challenges, help young people with disabilities and those, who became a disabled person recently, aimed at activating, uniting the efforts of people with disabilities. Group events were organized, master classes, physical education, outdoor sports and rehabilitation camp for training in the use of an active wheelchair.
The ARTel training and production workshop for the production of souvenirs began its work, in which people with disabilities were able in practice to pass a professional test. They have the opportunity to learn how to work on modern equipment, try your hand at different professions (designer, logist, operator, manager, programmer), as well as experience in the team. Manufactured souvenir products with social symbols (mugs, decorative plates, bags, etc.) distributed free of charge among the participants of public events. Wooden tactile aids were made for non-profit organizations, engaged in social rehabilitation of the visually impaired.
"Yourself's lawyer" – it's technology, aimed at increasing the level of legal knowledge of people with disabilities, mastering the skills of self-assertion of one’s rights. Volunteers from among law students were involved in the work.
An information campaign was held to form a positive attitude towards people with disabilities in society: outdoor screenings of films about people with disabilities, classes with university students.
